I really hate the feeling of ABS. I'd almost rather go with the risk of locking my wheels than have to feel it every time I try to stop in the snow.

I agree. If you are gentle with the brakes in such conditions ABS isn't necessary. Unfortunately, most of America cannot grasp that concept.

My car doesn't have ABS which I like since there were a few times I've locked her down to avoid slamming into some moron who pulled out in front of me. I'm pretty sure that the ABS wouldn't have helped much.
